Founder

3Arrow AG was founded by Marcus Nagel in May 2018. 

After spending 2 years as a professional tennis player on the ATP challenger tour, Marcus studied business administration in Frankfurt a.M., Germany as well as in the USA, where he got an MBA on International Management from Thunderbird, Glendale, AZ. He also attended some specialized professional courses at Boston University and Harvard.  

Since 1994 he has been working in the financial services industry. He started his career at the Commerzbank Asset Management Division where he held various executive positions from being the founder and CEO of Skarbiec Investment Company in Warsaw, Poland to being a main board director at Jupiter PLC, London until 2007.

In 2008, Marcus joined the Zurich Insurance Group and in his first role he was responsible for the Global Broker business within the Global Life Division until 2011. He was then appointed as CEO of the German Life Business and in March 2016 he became CEO of Zurich Group Germany being responsible for the General Insurance and Life Business.

He decided to leave with Zurich in February to create his own company, 3Arrow AG.
